SKIN NEEDLING
Skin needling is a non-surgical, minimally invasive facial treatment that uses a microneedling device to stimulate a healing process with new collagen growth in your skin. This collagen production reduces acne scarring, fine lines, and pore size and improves skin texture. Professional face needling is regarded as one of the most risk-free skin-treatment procedures.
The technique of inserting needles into the skin to achieve improved skin conditions has been around for over two decades.

What to expect post treatment
24hrs Post Treatment
Moderate redness and swelling is expected and can last 1-2 days. This can last longer for some people with more sensitive skin or a tendency to swell.
1-2 days Post Treatment
Mild erythema, mild itchiness and dry sensation. Keep your skin hydrated with simple moisturizer.
2-3 days Post Treatment
Mild erythema and skin flaking, with slight dryness. Return to your skincare routing using active ingredients.
Sun protection is VERY important, DON'T FORGET!

Post Treatment care
Avoid exercise, hot showers, spas, pools, saunas for 48 hours and make up.
You can use hyaluronic acid immediately after treatment.
Active products can be used 2-3 days after treatment.
Wear SPF every day to prolong your treatment results and protect your skin.
Stay away from exfoliation products on the treated area for 1 week post-treatment.

The surface of your skin seals and heals quickly; after about a week, your skin is pretty much back to normal. Then, under the skin, the process of collagen remodelling starts. The collagen induction peaks at 12 weeks but can continue for up to 12 months. Skin rejuvenation effects can be seen as early as six weeks but continue for up to 3 months and longer.

How Many Treatments are Recommended for Optimal Results?
Your skin condition and your goal determines the number of skin-needling procedures required. Generally, 4 treatments is optimal.
A minimum of 4 weeks between treatments is recommended because new natural collagen takes that long to form and see optimal results from the first treatment.
Every year, one or two refresher microneedling treatments are recommended for wrinkles caused by skin ageing.
For best results in acne scarring, other treatments such as rf microneedling, subcision, TCA cross, laser, dermal fillers or punch elevation may need to be combined.
